Fine Art Montessori Childcare Centre Inc. in Richmond is looking for an Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team.
Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
Employer: Fine Art Montessori Childcare Centre Inc.
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 20.00 per hour, at least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation
Location: #105-6488 Garden City Road, Richmond, BC V6Y 4M2
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Previous work experience in child care is required
- Early childhood educator license is an asset
- Completion of an Early childhood educator assistant certificate is an asset
Main Duties:
- Assist children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating, and sleeping
- Discuss children’s progress and challenges at staff meetings
- Assist in housekeeping duties and take care of teaching materials
- Provide snacks and organize rooms or furniture for lunch and periods
- The successful candidate will be punctual, reliable, creative, caring, resourceful and have good organization skills, as well, strong communication skills.
- Provide written comment on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
