Daon Korean Cuisine Ltd. is looking for full-time/permanent Restaurant Cook
Position: Restaurant Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $14.60 – $17.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Working hours: 30-40 hours per week
Benefits:
• 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals and foods
• Order kitchen supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Oversee overall kitchen operation and resolve any rising issue in the kitchen
• Give ideas on new menu items, regulate size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies
• Supervise and train kitchen helpers in food preparation
Job requirements:
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks
OR
Completion of college or other program in cooking
OR
Minimum 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
Educational Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary school

• English
