Description
Café La Forêt in Burnaby, BC is looking for a baker to work with our team.
Title: Cook
Opening: 2 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Salary: CAD 17.62 – 19.62 per hour
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: 6848 Jubilee Avenue, Burnaby, BC, V5J 4B3

Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school education
- Previous commercial cooking experience is an asset
Main Duties:
- Prepare and cook dishes including pizza, pasta, soup, waffles, and sandwiches
- Plan menu and determine food portions and size
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Ensure to maintain high quality of foods
- Manage the inventory of food ingredients and supplies
- Coordinate and supervise work of kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and work area
