Position: Full-time Bricklayer Helper
Open positions: 2
Wage and working hours: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour, 30-40 hours a week.
Working Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland in BC.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
- Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and mortar
- Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers
- Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile
- salvaged materials
- Tend or feed machines used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
- Direct traff ic at or near construction sites
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
Requirement:
- Experience as a general construction labourer is an asset.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
