Vacancies: 2 Job Location: 6975 Alberni Street, Suite 200, Powell River, BC V8A 2B8 Description: Permanent Fulltime 40 hours per week Employment Conditions: Day, Early morning, Evening, Flexible hours, Morning, Night, Overtime, Shift, Weekend Language: English Education: College GEGEP or other non-university certificates or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent.experience. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work Site Environment:

• Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders).
• Programs dealing with Autism Soectrum Disorder

Work Setting:

• Group Home
• Work in employer's/client's home
• Rural area
• Community Centre
• Private residence

Responsibilities (Tasks):

• Administrative and office activities
• Appraise clients or eligibility for specific serviceswithin the community
• Housekeeping activities
• Food preparation
• Resolve conflict situations
• Implement behaviour management programs
• Liaise with other special services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
• Assist clients/guests with specal needs
• Accompany clients/guests to appointments and social outings

Credentials:

• Mandt System Training
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
