Child caregiver – private home (Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 40 hours / week)

Location: Brampton, ON

Salary: $17.17 to $17.50 / hour (To be negotiated)

Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Public transportation is available. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Specific Skills: Supervise and care for our child. Bathe, dress and feed our child. Prepare our child for rest periods. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Tend to the emotional well-being of a child. Organize activities such as games and outings for a child. Prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Additional Skills: Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Assume full responsibility for the household i n absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Personal Suitability: Initiative, Organized, Judgement, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player, Effective interpersonal skills, Client focus

Security and Safety: Criminal record check
