Kawakubo Sushi is looking for qualified Chef to join our team.
Restaurant Name: Kawakubo Sushi Sake Organic
Position: Chef, Full time, Permanent
Work Location: 3315 30th Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 2C9
Responsibilities:
– Prepare and Cook complete traditional Japanese dishes including traditional sushi and Kawakubo's original rolls
– Create new recipes and plan menus
– Estimate food requirements
– Maintain inventory and food supplies as required
– Work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure the service standards are met
– Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils and equipment
– Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Requirement:
– Completion of High School
– 3 years or higher of experience in commercial food preparation
– Able to work in evening and Weekends
– Able to communicate in English
Compensation and working hours:
– $20.19 ~ $22 hourly and 30~40 hours weekly
