We provide concrete services to clients in the province of British Columbia and our company is always focusing on the preservation of the environment and the continuous improvement of our human assets and processes. Now we are looking for an experienced carpenter who wishes to work with us.

Job Location: Various Locations, Lower Mainland, BC

Wage: $30.00 ~ $32.00/hour and 4 % from gross income as vacation pay.

Hour of Work: 40 hours per week
Start date of Employment: A.S.A.P (will be adjustable)

< Duties >

-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweights steel and other materials.
-Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.

-Assist supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
-Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.

-Supervise apprentices and other construction workers.

< Requirements >

– Completion of secondary school is usually required.
– Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program OR three years or more of work experience in the construction field.

<Personal suitability>

– Good communication skills.

– Good understanding of basic math.
