Description
We are looking for a caregiver for an elderly person in the latter stages of dementia/Alzheimer in Mississauga, Ontario, L5L 2E3. Position offered is permanent, full-time. Salary $18.00 hour gross, 40 hours per week, monday to friday. Minimum secondary school graduation, minimum one year of experience required. Administer medications, administer bedside and personal care, assist in regular exercise, e.g., chair stretches, assist in feeding and supervise for swallowing issues, provide companionship, plan therapeutic diets and menus, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, assist client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, e.g. toileting, diaper changes, assist in transitioning client from bed to chair, prepare and serve nutritious meals.
