Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $23.00~$25.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 1467 Hampshire Rd, Victoria, BC V8S 4T5

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare fully cooked meals by following the recipes provided by the restaurant
• Plan and develop menus, determine the appropriate portions of food to be served, and make estimations on food requirements and expenses
• Prepare meals for customers who have dietary allergies or intolerances
• Ensure that the kitchen and work area are clean and sanitized
• Monitor the food inventory and arrange for additional supplies when required
• May recruit and provide training kitchen personnel if needed
• Oversee kitchen operations

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
