Located in the Canary district, our Souk Tabule is a fast casual restaurant that remains true to Tabule’s roots with a modern take on middle eastern cuisine. Souk Tabule offers fresh and nutritious wraps, salads and authentic Beirut style street food. We also deliver fresh meals made with high quality ingredients for people on the go.
We are looking for a baker/pita maker at our restaurant.
Your tasks are:
- Prepare dough for pita bread, rolls according to recipes or special customer orders Bake mixed dough and batters
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Train staff Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Clean kitchen and work areas Order supplies and equipment
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets Manage kitchen operations
- Recruit and hire staff
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:8 hour shift
Experience: Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Food Safe, Safe Check, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
