1172454 BC Ltd. DBA The Chopped Leaf is looking for a full-time and permanent Assistant manager – food services at 2362 Whatcom Road Abbotsford, BC V3G 0C1. (Even though this is full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 29.00/hr and 35 hours/week.
Job Duties:
- Keep track of income to manage labor costs.
- Keep track of staff performance.
- Plan and manage daily tasks.
- Hire new employees.
- Set work schedules for staff.
- Train the employees.
- Decide what services to offer and how things should be done.
- Manage inventory.
- Make deals with suppliers for food and other items.
- Make deals with clients for catering or facility use.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns.
- Oversee and assess daily operations.
Employment requirements:
High School is required. Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required. 2-3 years of experience in the foodservice sector, including supervisory experience, are required.
