Position Info:

• Position: Grinder – Metal Products Manufacturing
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $24.00~$27.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 5800 Beresford Street, Burnaby, BC V5J 1J1

Benefits:

• 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Perform metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, and other materials from metal surfaces of parts
• Read and interpret work orders
• Move raw materials and finished metal products manually or using equipment
• Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
• Clean work areas and equipment
• Grind or remove excess metal from metal products using hand tools
• Support structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metalworking machine operators or other metal workers

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: No experience is required
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required
