Job duties and responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
- Develop and implement hotel policies, procedures, and strategies to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Lead and manage the hotel's executive team, providing guidance and support to various department heads.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and analyze financial reports to optimize revenue and control expenses.
- Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction, ensuring high-quality services and a positive guest experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, suppliers, and local authorities.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract guests and increase hotel visibility.
- Oversee sales and revenue management efforts to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee satisfaction.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide training to improve employee skills and performance.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to obtain competitive rates and improve hotel offerings.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, making strategic adjustments as needed.
- Work closely with the hotel owner or management company to align on overall business objectives.
- Develop and execute plans for property maintenance and renovations to enhance the hotel's appearance and functionality.
- Participate in community events and engage in public relations activities to promote the hotel's positive image.
- Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements based on guest comments and suggestions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative ideas to enhance operations and guest experiences.
