Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all departments.
  • Develop and implement hotel policies, procedures, and strategies to achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Lead and manage the hotel's executive team, providing guidance and support to various department heads.
  • Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and analyze financial reports to optimize revenue and control expenses.
  • Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction, ensuring high-quality services and a positive guest experience.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, suppliers, and local authorities.
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract guests and increase hotel visibility.
  • Oversee sales and revenue management efforts to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and provide training to improve employee skills and performance.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to obtain competitive rates and improve hotel offerings.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities, making strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with the hotel owner or management company to align on overall business objectives.
  • Develop and execute plans for property maintenance and renovations to enhance the hotel's appearance and functionality.
  • Participate in community events and engage in public relations activities to promote the hotel's positive image.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements based on guest comments and suggestions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative ideas to enhance operations and guest experiences.
  • Uphold the hotel's reputation and brand standards, ensuring consistent delivery of quality services.
