Home child care provider (Permanent employment

Full time/ 30 to 40 hours per Week)

Workplace information: On site

Salary: 20.00 hourly 

Starts as soon as possible

Vacancies: 1 vacancy

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

Work in employer's/client's home. Public transportation is available

Tasks

Supervise and care for children

Bathe, dress and feed children

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Prepare children for rest periods

Tend to the emotional well-being of children. 

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

or equivalent experience

Experience: Experience an asset

Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/travel information

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Personal suitability: Client focus, Flexibility, Initiative,   Judgement

Organized, Reliability, Time management, Patience, Honesty
