We are looking for well-experienced Retail butchers for Pemberton Valley Supermarket, located at 7438 Prospect St., Pemberton, BC, V0N 2L1, Canada.

 No. of Positions: 05

JOB DUTIES:

●      Cut, trim, bone, and otherwise prepare custom and/or standard cuts of meat, poultry, fish, and shellfish for sale at self-serve counters or according to customers' orders.

●      Shape and lace roasts, poultry, and seafood ensuring they maintain their structure during cooking.

●      Remove bones from various cuts of meat with precision to maximize yield.

●      Cut whole poultry into parts, including breasts, thighs, and wings, while minimizing waste.

●      Prepare special orders, tailoring meat cuts and preparations to meet specific customer requests.

●      Conduct thorough end-of-day clean-up, sanitizing work areas and equipment to ensure hygiene.

●      Assist with other tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

●      Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers

Prerequisites:

Education:                         No formal education required 

Experience & Skills:           1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Language:                         English

Hourly Rate: $ 23.00 to $33.50 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
