• Position: Early Childhood Educator
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: #301 722 Johnson Street, Victoria BC V8W 1N1

Job Duties:

• Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
• Foster and aid children in acquiring proper eating, dressing, and bathroom habits
• Monitor children for indications of potential learning or behavioral challenges and generate reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
• Evaluate the capabilities, interests, and requirements of children and communicate progress or difficulties with parents and fellow staff members
• Lead  daily activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs
• Establish and uphold an environment that promotes the health, security and well-being of children
• Create and uphold cooperative relationships with colleagues and the community

Job requirements:

• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Education: College Certificate or Diploma in early childhood education is required
• Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
• Language: English
