Skill Requirements:
Education:
No formal education required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience required
Languages:
Written and Oral English
Specific Skills:
Prepare and apply waterproofing and dampproofing coatings to structure surfaces such as concrete or other masonry surfaces, below or above ground level.
Spray materials like, sand, steam, paint through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces of waterproofing/damp-proofing.
Apply vehicular traffic coating in parkades, balconies and decks.
Install, repaid or replace roofing system using waterproof sheet materials
Install sheet metal flashing and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials.
Operate hand or power tools of all types and variety of other equipment and instruments.
Discuss blueprint details with Superintendent and organize materials and check all tools for maintenance conditions.
