Khanh Express, located at 910 Beatty St., Vancouver, BC V6B 1M7, is looking for permanent, full Vietnamese Food Cooks. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail.
Position: Cook
Wages: CAD$18.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Free meals at work, Tips, Employee discounts
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook Vietnamese food items including various pho dishes, vermicelli dishes, Vietnamese subs, Satay rice noodles in soups, rice dishes, rolls, and other items on the menus;
• Maintain inventory and records of food;
• Oversee kitchen operations;
• Train kitchen staff.
Job requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience.
