Café La Forêt in Burnaby, BC is looking for a unit supervisor to work with our team.
Title: Unit supervisor
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Salary: CAD 18.50 – 20.50 per hour (negotiable)
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Location: 6848 Jubilee Avenue, Burnaby, BC, V5J 4B3
Benefit:
- 4% of gross pay or 10 days of paid vacation
- Extended health and dental benefits after 6 months of employment
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school education is required.
- Post-secondary education in hospitality or related field, or several years of related work experience is required.
Main Duties:
- Train and supervise other food service staff
- Manage food inventory and order ingredients and supplies
- Coordinate work schedule and activities of food service staff
- Work with accounting to ensure adherence to proper financial and audit controls
- Control for stock rotation, retail merchandising and display
- Establish work procedures and record sales, budget and wastage
