Position Info:

- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $17.62~$20.62/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 2404 East Hastings, Vancouver, BC V5K 1Z1
Benefits:
- 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan new menu items, regulate the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and purchase supplies
- Supervise kitchen operations and kitchen assistants and helpers
- Keep track of inventory and maintain records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Ensure the kitchen is tidy and sanitize work areas
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff for preparation and cooking
Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
