Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at our renowned restaurant. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our customers. Responsibilities:
– Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
– Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
– Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
– Assist with inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients
– Train and mentor junior sushi chefs as needed

Experience:
– Previous experience working as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within the food industry
– Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation
– Proficient in handling various types of fish and seafood
– Familiarity with kitchen equipment used for sushi preparation
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
