Sushi California is looking for Restaurant Cook (Japanese Sushi Cook).
Position: Restaurant Cook (Japanese Sushi Cook)
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $17/hour
Hours: 30 – 40 hours/week
Benefits:

Job Duties:
· Prepare, cook, and serve complete meals according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, quality, and service standards
· Make various types of sushi, sashimi, roll sushi, salad, and combination sushi
· Estimate and plan food portions and food requirements
· Schedule and supervise kitchen staff
· May assist in hiring and recruitment of new staffs
· May clean sushi bar/kitchen and work area
· Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
· Order ingredients, supplies and equipment as required
· Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
· Manage kitchen operations
Educational Requirements:
· Secondary school
Experience Requirements:
· 2~ 3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
Language Requirements:
· English
