We are looking for Sous Chefs for our clients at 75 Bader Ln, Kingston, ON K7L 2S7, Canada. And
various locations in the region.

JOB DUTIES:
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drink menus.
- Produce high-quality plates both design and taste-wise.
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.
- Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish a working schedule and assess staff’s performance.
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately.
- Assure kitchen personnel are trained in the best cleanliness and sanitation practices.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with the specifications.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: Mandate 3+ years of experience in the culinary field working in a
reputable Restaurant/Hotel in their home country with supporting
documents Supervisory experience is an asset.
Language: English – IELTS test score of 7 and above (International English
Language Testing System)
Other: Nights and Weekend Availability to work. Ability to lift 40 pounds and
no restrictions on being on their feet for extended periods of time
Hourly Rate: $ 23.50 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Must be able to work PM/Weekend and Late night shifts at our primary busy locations.
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
