Job title: Stair Builder Carpenters
Number of Positions: 2
Location: 119 Pinebush Rd,Cambridge, ON and client's location as required to complete job
Compensation: $25-27/hr
Job requirements
Languages: English
Education: High School or Other trades certificate or equivalent experience
Experience – 1 year +
Specific Skills – Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements, Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials, Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, Repair cracks and holes
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities – Physically demanding, Overtime required, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Own Tools/Equipment – Steel-toed safety boots; Hard hat; Safety glasses/goggles
Transportation/Travel Information – Own transportation; Valid driver's licence
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities – Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Bending, crouching, kneeling; Tight deadlines
