Description
Terms of Employment/Salary:
– Full-time (35 hrs per week)
– Permanent
– Day, weekend
– $20.19/hour, 2 weeks annual vacation pay
Job Duties:
– Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
– Professionalism in customer service
– Accept payment or invoices for items delivered.
– Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
– Keep a record of items received and delivered.
– Load and unload goods
– Sort packages
– Follow directions and read map.
– Use maps and other trip planning aids.
– Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
– Pay and receive payments for goods.
– Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Skill Requirements, (including language, education and work experience)
– English
– No degree, certificate or diploma
– Experience an asset
