Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $18.00~$20.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  3
• Work Location: 208 Island Highway East, Parksville, BC V9P 2H3

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Plan menus and determine size of food portions
• Keep kitchen and work area clean and sanitized
• Estimate food requirements and costs and order supplies
• Supervise kitchen operations and schedule kitchen helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Involve in hiring and training of kitchen staff

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
• Language: English
