• Install, repair or replace asphalt shingles and other material on sloped roofs of on residential and commercial buildings

• Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions

• Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings

• Install sheet metal flashings

• Replace and repair plywood and basic construction to prepare roof for finishing

• Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs

• Clean up job sites as required 

• Maintain power tools and keep clean

• Other duties that apply

 

Job Requirements: 

• Punctual 

• Attention to detail 

• Able to lift 60 lbs repeatedly 

• Not afraid of heights 

• Able to work in all weather conditions 

• Able to work safely

• Can work independently and part of a team  

• Good attitude 

• Able to follow directions 

• Communicate effectively with team members 

• Drivers licence is an asset

• Truck and trailer handling is an asset
