The Turban Villa in Surrey is looking for permanent, full-time positions for one Retail Store Supervisor to assist in running growing firm and could join immediately.
Location: 8078 128 St suite 101, Surrey, British Columbia, V3W 4E9
Positions Available: 1 (One)
Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.
Compensation: $22.60 per hour
Work hours: 30 hours/week
Terms: Permanent Full-Time
Language of Work: English
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare work schedules and assign sales workers to duties.
- Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers.
- Operate cash registers and authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise.
- Sell merchandise to customers.
- Check merchandise to make sure it’s correctly priced, displayed, and meets quality standards.
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortage.
- Replenish the sales floor.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed.
- Monitor and prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters.
- Hire and train employees to use equipment and complete job-related tasks such as using the cash register, greeting customers, and handling customer complaints.
- Evaluate employee performance and identify areas to improve.
- Maintain store health and safety procedures; Make sure the store is clean and organized.
Skills and Education:
1-2 years of related experience
Completion of Secondary School
