Dasher Holdings Ltd. Dba Tim Hortons in Smithers is looking for Permanent, Full-time positions for One Food Service Supervisor to assist in running our growing firm and could join immediately.

Location: 3932 Hwy 16Smithers, BC, V0J 2N0

Positions Available: 1 (One)

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Work hours: 30 hours/week

Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Language of Work: English

Job duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare and serve food.
• Helps maintain standards for raw and finished product quality, service and speed, quality and cleanliness.
• Ensure staff following job duties and safety procedures.
• Controls labour hours and cash flow while on shift.
• Helps maintain records for safety and appropriately documents performance and/or incidents in personnel files.
• Completes assigned shift paperwork.
• May direct preparation of foods and beverages
• Maintains records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Train new food service staff, Evaluates work performance of staff and report to manager.
• May participate in the hiring of crew members and assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets.
• Knows and helps to enforce and educate crew on all appropriate personnel policies, labour laws, and security and safety procedures.
• Shares knowledge and experience with crew

Skills and Education:

1-2 years of related experience

Completion of Secondary School
