Retail sales supervisors – (NOC 6211)

 

Position: Retail sales supervisors

Working Hours: 30hrs per week, 6hours per day

Work Shift: It can be daytime, evening, weekends and/or holidays

Wage: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour

Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay from Gross Salary, Extended Medical Insurance

Main duties

 

  • Manage and supervise the daily operation of sales staff and cashiers
  • Recruit, train, and supervise new staffs in all aspects of their job responsibilities including customer service, product knowledge, and basic store operations
  • Monitor staff behaviour and provide feedback to management as necessary
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints in a professional, respectful manner. Educate and empower your team to resolve customer concerns in the moment
  • Forecast, manage, maintain, and order all store inventory within budget
  • Manage the working schedule for staffs and assign them daily duties
  • Authorize transactions and the returns or exchanges of products
  • Support staff on receiving product deliveries and put away when necessary
  • Ensure that all product presentation is maintained to company standards
  • Analyze product sales performance and inventory needs by maintaining appropriate inventory levels and adjusting when required to avoid stock outs

 

Employment Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is usually required.
  • Previous retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer, door-to-door salesperson or rental agent is required.
