DCJ logistics is looking for 4-5 transport truck drivers , located at 2880 Queen Street suite 224 Brampton Ontario
Job duties-
- Operate and drive tractor-trailor, trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances
- Plan trip logistics and required documentation to transport goods
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories
- Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain log books
- Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices and on-board computers
- May perform emergency roadside repairs
Salary: 25$ per hour- 30-40 hours per week / full time, permanent position.
Education- college diploma of 1-2 years
Work experience- 7 months to less than a year
