Complete Utility Contractors Ltd. in Pitt Meadow, BC is looking for a Pipelayer to join our team.
Title: Pipelayer
Employer: Complete Utility Contractors Ltd.
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 40.00 ~ CAD 43.00 per hour
Working Hours: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation, extended benefits after 3 months
Head Office: #502-19100 Airport Way, Pitt Meadows, BC V3Y 0E2
Location of Work: Candidates will be required to work at various locations in Greater Vancouver area.
Requirements
- At least 7 months to less than 1 year experience is required.
Main Duties:
- Read instructions and specifications for requirements
- Inspect and prepare sites for pipeline construction
- Dig trenches to required depths by using trenching tools
- Gather construction materials and installation tools, and move them to work areas
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
- Fill and seal pipe trenches
- Remove old or broken piping systems
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
