• Language Requirement: English

• Minimum Education Required: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

• Experience required: 7 months to less than 1 year

• Area of specialization : Physiotherapy

• Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist during assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patients
2. Assist health care professionals
3. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
4. Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine
5. Set up and dismantle equipment
6. Apply and adjust casts, splints and bandages
7. Clean and maintain equipment
8. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
9. Remove casts, sutures and pins
10. Connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by chiropractor
11. Document patient rehabilitation progress
