Education: College/CEGEP (1 to 2 years program) 

 

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years 

 

Languages: English 

 

Main duties: 

 

– Working under the direction and supervision of Registered Physiotherapist

– Carry out treatment plans , under the direction OF physiotherapists, such as thermotherapy, ice, exercises,electrotherapeutic modalities to improve the patient'sindependence, mobility and quality of life

– Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed bya Registered Physiotherapist including gait training, balanceexercises,range of motion, strengthening exercises and falls prevention techniques.

– Assess the patient's progress and communicate this with the Physiotherapist and team
