A professional family in TORONTO, ON requires an experienced LOCAL Caregiver/Personal Support Aide/ Home Support Worker with recent relevant, paid work experience (caring for persons with a physical disability) to care for a wheel- chair bound disabled nineteen year old adult male and assist him with his Activities of Daily Living.

Education Requirements |
-Must have Canadian High School Diploma, have completed High School or have equivalent education from elsewhere. |
Essential Skills |
Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Must be caring, kind, competent, Honest, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, flexible, neat and clean and organized, must be able to assist with lift and transfer in and out of wheelchair, must have initiative and be able to bond well with him and keep him safe and follow his routine. |
Experience |
– Must have One to Two years of Full-time, Paid, Relevant Work Experience within the last three years, caring for a wheel-chair bound person with a severe disability. |
Languages |
Must Be Fluent In English |
Weight Handling |
-Should be able to handle upto 10 kgs |

Additional Skills |
Must be caring, competent, mature and experienced in working with disabled persons and be able to follow their routine and be able to help our son with his Activities of Daily Living and support his emotional well-being |
