 Salary: $17.31 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

 

 Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time,  Day, Evening, Morning

 

 Start date: As soon as possible

Job requirements

Languages: English

 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

 

Specific Skills: Tend to emotional well-being of children; Take children to and from school and to appointments; Supervise and care for children; Provide personal care; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties; Organize, activities such as games and outings for children; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Launder clothing and household linens; Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children; Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development; Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder); Administer medications

 

Children's Ages: Up to 12 years

 

Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment

 

Security and Safety: Criminal record check; Vulnerable sector check

 

Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel; Travel expenses paid by employer; Public transportation is not available
