Number of positions: 2 

Salary: $18/hour 

Term of employment: Fulltime (35-40 hours/week); Permanent position 

Job summary: 

TNT is Maple Ridge local happy place to make customers feel relaxed and pampered with our wide range of services including nail therapy, spa pedicures, facials, massage, and reflexology, complete with wine and beer menu. We provide the best experience for each guest through our exceptional service and technical excellence. We are currently looking for nail care technicians to add to our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide manicure and pedicure treatments designed to enhance an individual's physical appearance. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Remove old nail polish from fingernails and toes nails, clean nails, shape the ends of nails, push back cuticles, and apply new polish based on clients’ preferences, 

• Provide gel and acrylic nail extension,

• Apply artificial nails,

• Recommend various nail designs and nail art to clients,

• Evaluate the condition of clients’ nails and advise them on proper nail care treatments,

• Clean the workstation and keep it organized, clean and safe,

• Welcome, greet clients and maintain customer relationship to encourage repeat nail appointments, 

• Schedule and confirm appointments with clients,

• Perform work as requested.

Qualifications:

• High school completion is required

• Min 1 year of experience as a nail technician is required

• Attention to detail

• Customer oriented – build and maintain good relationship with customers

• Creative and flexible – develop new designs, customize colors, patterns and designs as per clients’ requests.
