Mokran Restaurant is seeking F/T Chefs.

Description

Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: #7 20349 88th Avenue, Langley, BC V1M 2K5

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook individual items, complete meals, or specialty foods according to standardized recipes.

·         Instruct and direct cooks in food preparation and cooking activities.

·         Develop new recipes and menus based on estimating food requirements and costs.

·         Requisition food and kitchen supplies.

·         Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.

·         Ensure food meets quality standards.

·         Participate in hiring, training, and supervising cooks and other kitchen staff.

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience as a chef are required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

·         Language: English
