A well-established sign company in Burnaby, BC is looking for a Machinist
Company: CNC Channel Sign
Job Position: Machinist, Permanent, Full-time
Job Location: 6741 Cariboo Rd #302, Burnaby, BC V3N 4A3
Wage and working hours: $34.00 per hour, 30~40 hours per week
Experience and qualification:
– Secondary education is required
– English language ability (able to communicate in English) is required
– Min 2 years of work experience in machinery repair, machine operator, mechanic or related field
Key Responsibilities:
– Determine and operate machine tools machining operation
– Load tools and perform set-ups for the completion of a job
– Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure work pieces
– Verify dimensions of products for accuracy using precision measuring instruments
– Take measurements and make adjustments to produce parts
– Monitor machine while working and maintain consistency and resolve issues
– Perform routine machine maintenance and repair damages
– Assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies
