Loaf Italian Restaurant is seeking Full-Time Chefs
Position Info:
- Position: Chef
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $24.00~$26.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 641 2nd Avenue, Fernie, BC V0B 1M0
Benefits:
- 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Establish and direct food preparation and cooking activities of the restaurant
- Organize menus and make sure that food meets quality standards
- Estimate food requirements and estimate food and labour costs
- Supervise activities of kitchen staff
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
- Participate in recruiting and hiring staff
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis
Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Language: English
