Position: child caregiver, private home
Job Duties:
• We require a caregiver to help us with our three children, two boys and a girl, aged 5, 3 and 1.
• The caregiver will maintain a safe and healthy environment in our home
• Prepare meals, bottles and snacks for the children
• Bathe, dress and feed children
• Take the older children to and from pre-school
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children,
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development,
• Organize, activities such as games and outings for children,
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals,
• Supervise and care for children,
• Tend to emotional well-being of children
Skills Requirements:
• We are looking for someone who is organized, punctual, reliable and with excellent interpersonal skills
• Secondary High School Graduation certificate,
• Childcare experience an asset
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours/week: Working hours from: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Language of work: English
Wage: $13/hour + 10 days paid vacation, benefits provided as per provincial employment standards.
Location of work: Garibaldi Highlands, British Columbia. Room and board provided (optional), and relocation costs covered by employer.
