We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be essential in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly by preparing delicious and high-quality meals following our recipes and standards. Ideal candidates will be able to:
Job Description and Responsibilities:
· Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving
· Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
· Prepare and cook special dishes and menu items using our established recipes
· Assist in developing new menu items and specials
· Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
· Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operation
· Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
· Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and food storage areas meet restaurant hygiene and health standards
· Work with team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed
· Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
· Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant
Employment Qualifications and Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school
· 1-2 years cooking experience or completion of college or other program in cooking
· Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
· Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain before the employment start date

· Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance
· Able to handle the pressures of a busy kitchen environment
· Good organization and communication skills
