Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years experience in landscaping
Work site environment: Outdoors, Hot
Tasks
- Plan and direct grounds maintenance
- Organize and direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns
- Organize and direct construction of fences, decks and walls
- Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work
- Maintain work records and logs
- Establish work schedules and procedures
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Supervision: 3-4 people
Area of specialization: Interior landscaping, Lawn care, Grounds maintenance, Design, Landscape construction
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
