Kitchen Supervisor (62020)

Description

We have an opening for Kitchen Supervisors (62020) at our “Nodo Leslieville” restaurant (2666524 Ontario Inc.) located at 1192 Queen Street E, Toronto, ON M4M 1L4. A fast-paced environment for a team-oriented person. Responsibilities will include Supervise, direct and co-ordinate activities of team members in kitchen for our guests at both in restaurant and take out while following all food safety guidelines and product standards.

Job requirements
Languages: English

Education: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience.
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.

Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people

Job Duties:

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Hire food service staff
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Ensure food service and quality control
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Establish work schedules
• Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, physically demanding.
• Prepare food order summaries for chef

Employment conditions: On call, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend

Work Site environment: Nosiy, Odours, Hot

Hourly Rate: CAD $17 per Hour for 35 to 40 Hours per week
