J&J Korean Foods Restaurant Ltd. dba Papa’s Box is looking for a full-time permanent kitchen helper to join the team as soon as possible.

 

Job details

Location: 15976 108 Ave #105, Surrey, BC V4N 5V6

Hourly rate: $16.75 to $19.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Vacancies: 1

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30 to 40 hours / week)

Start date: As soon as possible

Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

 

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 month to less than 7 months

 

Job Duties

• Assist in the preparation, heating, and final touches of basic food items

• Aid in unloading food supplies from delivery trucks alongside kitchen staff

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen surfaces, cupboards, and storage areas

• Thoroughly clean and dry utensils, cooking equipment, and cutting boards

• Organize and return utensils, cookware, dishes, and cutting boards to their designated storage areas

• Package take-out food neatly and securely

• Dispose of garbage, replace bags, and clean garbage receptacles

• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed

• Adhere to food safety guidelines when storing ingredients and food items
