KEYPLAN Measuring Inc., located in Surrey is hiring a full-time, permanent Interior Designer.
Duties and responsibilities
- Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project
- Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
- Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.
- Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.
- Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings, and advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, floor and wall coverings, window treatments, interior and exterior lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards
- Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures
- Train and teach interior design skills if needed.
- Utilize computer applications in the design process.
- Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.
Location: Unit 220 – 10330 152 Street, Surrey, BC V3R 4G8
Requirement: University degree or college diploma in interior design is required. Work experience is an asset.
Language: English needed.
Salary: $30/hour
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay. Group Insurance benefit provided.
