Business Address: #505 – 171 Esplanade West, North Vancouver, BC  V7M 3J9 Location of Employment: #505 – 171 Esplanade West, North Vancouver, BC  V7M 3J9 Term: full-time, 37.5 hours/week Salary: $56,280.00 per annum Benefits: Transport subsidy of $200/month after 3 month probation, disability, life insurance, dental, vision, extended medical, option for RRSP after 6 months Vacation: 2 weeks’ vacation Language: English   Overview Aicello North America Inc. supplies materials to some of North America’s largest multinational companies, including volatile corrosion inhibiting film, water soluble film, containers for ultrapure chemicals, ultra-clean packaging for mission critical applications and sealant film for lamination.  Our headquarters and manufacturing is based in Japan. We are looking to hire an Inventory Management Supply Chain Coordinator. The position is full time, 37.5 hours per week. It is based out of #505 – 171 Esplanade West, North Vancouver, BC  V7M 3J9, which is also our business address. The position pays $56,280.00 per annum. You will also receive extended health benefits, prescription drugs, dental coverage, a transport subsidy and the option for RRSP contributions, as well as 2 weeks’ vacation. The duties of the Inventory Management Supply Chain Coordinator will be to:

  • Coordinate between our office, Aicello Corporation’s Japanese production and R&D departments, Aicello America Corporation’s sales department and our warehouses in the United States on behalf of our North and South American customers;
  • Coordinate Logistics Forwarders to book, adjust and prepare container shipment imports to North America;
  • Resolve work-related issues;
  • Negotiate production slots; and
  • Translate technical testing research and data for the purpose of collaborating with North and South American customers and our marketing department in regards to the compatibility of customer products with Aicello Corporation products.

The requirements of the position are:

  • Completion of post-secondary education;
  • Several years experience in import/export logistics;
  • Several years experience in a customer service support role;
  • Several years experience in procurement (issuing purchase orders and customer invoices, approving vendor invoices and coordinating with accounting);
  • Previous experience working for a manufacturing company or coordinating logistics with a manufacturing company; is an asset; and
  • Oral and written Japanese is an asset.
