Saskatoon, SK S7L6M6 Education: Secondary school. Apprentice or trades certificate will be an asset. Work Experience: Min 3 years’ experience as a supervisor Job Duties:
- Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: purchasing, shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of materials, parts and products in multiple locations; processing purchasing and receiving transactions; co-ordinating repair work; scheduling couriers and freight; and other related activities
- Management of tool inventory for multiple locations; ensure project premob and demob inventory counts are completed
- Plan, organize and oversee corporate operations at the field level; establish standard operating procedures procedures, resolve process-related issues, prepare and submit progress and other reports and co-ordinate activities with other work units or divisions
- Train workers in job duties, operations and safety procedures and company policies
- Requisition and procure supplies and materials for project sites in multiple locations
- Ensure smooth operation of fleet and equipment, managing the Company’s preventative maintenance program
- Coordinate service requests and arrange for maintenance and repair work by internal mechanics or service vendors
- Ensure fleet and equipment inspections are completed and submitted, following up on deficiencies
- Develop new equipment preventative maintenance schedules
- Overall responsibility for housekeeping and organization of the shop space
- Project support as required
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
