Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Employer: Marks Supply Inc.

Location: Vaughan, Ontario
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Investigate inventory discrepancies found through cycle counting and report findings to Warehouse Manager
• Investigate Warehouse transfer discrepancies; conduct immediate cycle counts as required; and assist in development of proactive Cycle Count program
• Responsible for adjusting inventory regarding transfer disputes inbound from other
branches as well as outbound to other branches. Follow up with email stating the transfer has been adjusted
• Print up bar code labels on the computer as needed to ensure labelling of product is
correct before entering inventory
• Follow up with sales people by phone or e-mail regarding incomplete acknowledgements for product returns or complete warranty paperwork needed to
process a warranty claim with our Vendors as necessary
• Review quantity and condition of all returned goods and put away returned product
that has been received in good condition
• Assist in returning defective or non-stock items to vendors, including transfer items
from other branches; follow up with vendors on any open issues that arise with the
returning of goods
• Assist with debit PO’s and send to vendors to ask for authorization to return both
defective and non-stock items
• Process and close debit PO’s once authorization from vendors has been
given to Marks Supply
• Pick and pack items to be sent back to vendors once RGA is obtained and notify
Logistics of the return
• Make any adjustments necessary to ensure proper product ID and quantity before
making vendor returns
• Assist in and conduct vendor inspections
• Training staff on above and direct reports as required
• Keep returns area clean and organized
• Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in business
